    The Relocation of a Call Centre

    We relocated a call centreĀ for The Epilepsy Centre from Hindmarsh to Prospect, South Australia over the course of one weekend. For the move, we dismantled, relocated and reinstalled 20 office workstations. The constraints of the new office space meant we had to reconfigure the layout of the workstations to suit. We also relocated staff personal computers and other ICT equipment, as well as a quantity of office furniture.

    Sustainable Disposal

    We dismantled, removed, and recycled 16 workstations from the call centre through our Wise Office Furniture Program, which takes environmental responsibility for the life-cycle of ‘Furniture Fittings and Equipment’ (FF&E).

    The Challenge

    Being a not for profit, it was important that the move was as efficient and low cost as possible. Through our holistic suite of services including our Wise Office Furniture Program, we were able to complete the move quickly, efficiently, and at low cost to The Epilepsy Centre.

    Special Expertise

    Dismantling, relocating and re-configuring old workstations is very technical and can be tricky because the workstations are intended for their original configuration. A niche set of skills and experience is required to complete this type of work competently. Egans have been moving, re-configuring, storing, selling, and, recycling office workstations day in and day out for the last 20 years. We can safely say that we are leaders in the management of second hand workstations in Australia.

    Egans were incredible. The Epilepsy Centre needed to move premises over a weekend, dissemble and re-erect an entire call centre within such a short period of time.
