• Target Australia

Egans was commissioned by Target Australia to assist with the store shutdown of their Hoppers Crossing Store in August 2015.

This was a complicated project with tight timeframes and competing priorities which required a high degree of communication with all stakeholders and flexibility in project execution. Whilst stock was being loaded in for the last days of their closing down sale, our task was to dismantle and remove the 516 bays of back-of-house stock racking in a staged order for distribution to other stores.

As stock was cleared from the shop floor, our team followed, dismantling the 800+ shop floor racking and shelf bays.

We supplied packing materials and labour to dismantle, pack, and strap all racking and shelving in their component parts, types and colours to specification such that the shop fittings could be easily redistributed and reinstalled at other sites.

    • 649 shop rack bays
    • 230 shop shelf bays
    • 516 stock racking bays

In addition we were able to provide environmental sustainable disposal of 45 redundant items through our Wise Office Furniture Program.
