Our head workstation installer, Brett Lockwood, loves to build stuff! He also loves Christmas! Every year for the last 15 years, Brett has created a fantastic display of Christmas lights at his home in Wyndham Vale, Victoria. The decorations get more extravagant and intricate each year. For the last nine years, Brett has built a life sized Thomas the Tank Engine that kids can actually sit in. The display even includes a movie projector that plays (you guessed it) Thomas the Tank Engine!

Brett begins creating and installing his decorations at the start of the Melbourne Cup long weekend. It takes him about a month of nights and weekends to get everything fully set up. Once complete, it’s an absolute sight to behold. Thousands of people flock from all over Victoria to see Brett’s Christmas lights. Hundreds of people visit every night over the Christmas period.

Brett has been with Egans for 10 years and is an invaluable member of the team. He is incredibly talented, has a world of knowledge and experience, and encapsulates Egans ‘shift in thinking’ culture in every way!
