• Australian Film Television and Radio School

The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) is “the leading institution for the education and training of creative talent in the screen arts and broadcast industries.”

    Library Relocation

Egans packed, relocated, and unpacked 600 lineal metres of books for AFTRS in Moore Park, NSW. The move included a storage onsite and offsite for a week before unpacking the books into a new compactus unit.

    Why Egans

Our removals staff are specially trained to handle the specifics of moving a library. It is essential that the books are unpacked in the right order. The key to a successful library move involves:

    • Planning and labeling before the move
    • Using industry specific equipment for storing and moving books
    • A planned approach to unpacking with a clear overarching strategy for a sequential systematic library move.

These three measures will ensure that no books are lost or misplaced during the final unpacking process.

    Other Clients

We recently relocated a library for The Australian College of Physical Education in Sydney. We work with educational institutions throughout Australia including the University of Adelaide and Victoria University.
